All HE sheets have a thread count of equivalent to '≥ 1000 thread count' cotton sheets in the market.

🤯 Did you know that high thread count fabric doesn't necessarily mean it will be as comfortable? Many people have been influenced by the marketing gimmick that a higher thread count sheet means a higher quality bedding. Want the truth? The quality of the fiber and the weave of the sheets are the most important factors. Thread count is just the textile industry's measurement of the number of horizontal and vertical threads per square inch some markets even convert it into per 10cm square to make it look higher. It is not an accurate indicator of how soft or durable a sheet is.

HE uses Sateen Weave in all our Tencel™ & BareBamboo Series products. Sateen is a one-yarn-under and three-yarn-over weave. As more thread surface is exposed by the three-over weave, it gives Sateen Weave its signature buttery-smooth, luxurious finish and lustrous sheen.

Yes they do, and that's a good thing! Unlike many bedding brands, our sheets are not treated with any wrinkle-free chemicals (eg: formaldehyde resin) that might harmful to the skin and not suitable for naked sleeping. Thus HE sheets will naturally wrinkle, but these wrinkles will be reduced with every wash and use. We also recommend hang dry your sheets immediately after the wash has ended, to prevent significant wrinkling.
